Aurora’s new wayfinding signs are now in place, helping residents and visitors more easily locate destinations throughout town. The signs provide directions to Historic Downtown, the Aurora Fossil Museum, Aurora History Museum, public boat ramp, Aurora Ferry and other community destinations.
The project is another step toward making Aurora more welcoming, easier to navigate and better prepared to showcase its attractions and community activity.
The Town extends its appreciation to the Partnership for Aurora-Richland Township Progress (PARTP), which spearheaded the project from concept through completion, and to Goodwill of Eastern North Carolina for its generous sponsorship and continued investment in Aurora’s future.
Projects like this demonstrate what strong partnerships and people who believe in their community can accomplish. The Town thanks everyone who helped make this improvement possible.
