Regular meetings: First Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. If the first Monday is a holiday, the meeting is held the following day.
Meetings are held at Town Hall or the Community Center. Special meetings and schedule changes are announced through Town Hall Updates.
Aurora's nonpartisan municipal elections are administered by the Beaufort County Board of Elections. Municipal contests are conducted in odd-numbered years, with offices appearing according to their terms.
The next regular municipal election is expected in November 2027. Official filing periods, contests, voting locations and dates will be published by the Board of Elections.
